To Open the Gradebook
- Log in to your teacher account.
- Open the class you want to work with.
- Click Assignments.
- Locate the assignment you want to review.
- Click Gradebook.
Force Submitting Assignments
For the 2026–2027 school year, students do not need to submit an assignment for you to review their work. You can open and review student responses at any time, making assignments ideal for activities such as reading book chapters, completing questions, or other ongoing work.
You may want to force submit an assignment only if you would like to leave comments or feedback that the student can view.
Important: Once an assignment is submitted (either by the student or by the teacher), the student will no longer be able to access or continue working on that assignment.
Option A:
To Force Submit an Individual Student's Assignment
- Locate the student whose assignment has not yet been submitted. Their row will display a Submit button.
- Click Submit in that student's row.
- The assignment will be submitted on the student's behalf, allowing you to add comments and feedback that the student can view.
Option B:
To Force Submit Multiple Students' Assignments
Use bulk submission when you want to submit assignments for multiple students at once so you can provide comments or feedback they can view.

- To select all students, check the box next to Assignment at the top of the list.
