Getting Started

  1. Log in to your GSE Bookshelf+ account.
    1. Click on the button in your Backpack, or
    2. Go to the login screen that your teacher gave you.
  2. Look for your lesson/assessment on the main page.
  3. Click the Start button next to the lesson/assessment name.


Navigating Your Lesson/Assessment

  1. Use the Next button at the bottom of the screen to go to the next slide.
  2. Want to jump to a different part? Click Go To at the bottom and pick the slide you want.

 

Answering Questions

Multiple Choice Questions

  • Read the question carefully.
  • Click the circle or box next to the right answer(s).
  • Hit Submit Answer when you're finished.

Free Response Questions

  • Click where it says Enter your text here.
  • Type in your answer.
  • Hit Submit Answer when you're finished.

Drag and Drop

  • Drag the answers from the answer bank to the corresponding blank spaces.
  • Hit Submit Answer when you're finished.

Other Question Types

  • Some questions might ask you to draw on or label pictures.
  • Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the activity.
  • Hit Submit Answer when you're finished.

 

Checking Your Work

  1. At the end, you'll see a page that shows all the question numbers.
  2. Want to change an answer? Just click on that question to go back to it.
  3. When you're done, click Go To and then Review/End to get back to the summary page.


Finishing Up

  1. When you're all done, click the Submit button.
  2. A box will pop up asking if you're sure - click Yes if you're ready to turn it in.

 

Tips for Success

  1. Read all the instructions before you start answering.
  2. If you're not sure about a question, use the Mark for Review button (if you have one) to come back to it later.
  3. Use the helpful tools if you need them.
  4. Double-check your answers before you submit.
